Your first few minutes

Helios combines personal conversations with project work. Chat is a good place for questions, ideas and everyday help. Work keeps a build or investigation together with its project, tools and results.

You do not need to know programming to start. Describe who the result is for and what they should be able to do. A phone can request desktop work, but a connected computer performs it.

  1. Install Helios from the public Downloads page and follow the sign-in flow. Check Settings → Updates for your installed version.
  2. Complete the permission setup offered by your build. Enable the capabilities you intend to use; revisit access in Settings later.
  3. For a first project, create a readable name and short description. For a quick question, open Chat.
  4. Ask for one small useful outcome, review it, then add the next improvement.

Example request

I want a simple personal reading list. I am new to coding. Help me choose the simplest approach, build a first version with add and complete actions, and show me how to test it.

Check the result

  • You know what was created and where it is saved.
  • You can repeat the main action yourself.
  • Remaining setup and failed checks are clearly identified.

If you get stuck

If an action asks for a computer, connect the intended Mac or Windows PC. An online phone alone cannot run desktop tools.

If your screen differs from a guide, check its availability note and your version before reinstalling.

Your screen may differ by platform and version. Check availability or get help.
