How Helios remembers you
Conversation history, saved facts, preferences and project memory each serve different purposes.

Several kinds of context
- Conversation history: what has been said in this conversation. Long conversations can be summarised, so not every original line is always in the model’s current context.
- Personal memory: saved facts, topics and preferences that help future conversations. Retrieval selects relevant information rather than loading everything every time.
- Project memory: requirements, decisions and notes belonging to a project. A collaborator’s project access does not grant access to your personal memory.
- The AI’s own saved perspective: identity, views and reflections are separate from facts saved about you.
Remember, correct or forget
Use Settings → Memory or the Remembered area in My Space to inspect the controls available in your version. Saved records can be edited, archived or deleted. Refresh before retrying if the record changed while you were editing.
Deleting an active memory removes it from active recall, but is not the same as deleting the source conversation or every backup. The current memory editor keeps local recovery snapshots. Delete conversation history separately where needed; the privacy guide explains the distinction.
What do you remember about my current projects? Show me anything you are unsure of, and correct my preferred working hours to evenings.
Why something may be missing or wrong
Helios does not save every sentence as a permanent fact. Information can be judged temporary, irrelevant to the current question, ambiguous, or superseded by a correction.
A retrieved fact may be stale or an inference may be wrong. State the correction directly and review the saved record if it matters. Never rely on memory alone for a critical deadline or sensitive decision.
Importing an example does not make its person you
Guide projects contain fictional sample dialogue and project notes. They are reference material for that project, not facts about your life, preferences or relationships. Keep that distinction when asking Helios to adapt an example.
