Friends and collaborators differ
A friend connection does not automatically share project files, personal memories or computer controls. Invite people to individual projects.
Review the role names and permissions shown by your installed version. Choose the access needed for the actual task.
- Open Friends, exchange a code and accept the connection.
- Open project settings and enable sharing.
- Invite the intended friend and choose an appropriate role.
- Review collaborators periodically. Turning sharing off revokes collaborators and pending invitations while preserving the project.

- The intended person accepted the invitation.
- The collaborator sees only permitted project content.
- Making the project private preserves its files.
Understand revocation
A 403 means access was denied; refreshing repeatedly does not fix permissions. Check account and membership.
Downloaded or exported copies cannot be recalled merely by turning sharing off.
