Welcome to the new Helios Softworks site. Here's what's here, what's coming, and how it all works.

This is the first post on the new Helios Softworks site. The plan: a quiet place to share what I build, what I break, and what I learn along the way.

What's here

The site has three main sections:

  • Projects — automatically pulled from the Helios Softworks GitHub org. Each project gets its own page, rendered from its README.
  • Writing — long-form posts like this one, plus shorter notes and explainers.
  • About — who I am, how to reach me, what this place is for.

How it works

The whole site is open source. It's a Next.js app with MDX posts, deployed to Vercel, and integrates with GitHub for live project data.

If you spot something broken, the "Edit on GitHub" link at the bottom of every post takes you straight to the source. Pull requests welcome.

What's next

I've got a backlog of posts I want to publish — write-ups of side projects, notes on tooling, and the occasional opinion piece. Subscribe to the RSS feed if you want to follow along.
